Last week, I started getting some mild fevers (up to 101F). But it would go down with some Motrin. Then on Thursday, Mommy had to come get me from daycare because my fever went up to 102F. I also had a runny nose and a bad cough.
Then Friday, Mommy took the day off from work. My fever went up to 103.5 and then 104.4F!
But then My eyes started rolling towards the back of my head and Mommy freaked.
Look at how sad I am!! Wahhh
She took me to Urgent Care, and they sent us to the Hackensack Pediatric ER! Daddy on his way home at the time. We only have one car, so Daddy had to wait patiently for updates from Mommy.
While we were in the waiting room of the ER, all the other parents kept commenting on "how bad i looked". Not very comforting for Mommy!!!
Here I am laying on top of Mommy who was laying on the hospital bed with me. The whole day I only wanted Mommy to hold me. Preferably while she was standing up. Her big belly is always in the way!!! By the end of the day, Mommy was pretty tired. She hadn't showered or eaten dinner!
They gave me a super strength Tylenol Suppository and a Chest XRay (which I HATED!!!!!). Luckily, I didn't have pneumonia... but I did have Bronchiolitis which is a viral infection.
They sent us home around 9pm. Mommy treated herself to tacos from Taco Bell on her way home.
I still ran a fever on Sat. and Sunday....but Mommy and Daddy thought I would be well by Monday. WRONG!
My fever jumped up to 103 again on Monday so Mommy took another day off work to stay home with me. She took me back to the doctor, and guess what? I now have an ear infection! Yay!! So now im on antibiotics.
Here I am lounging around in front of the TV with Mommy and her BIG BELLY. Mommy and Daddy don't let me watch TV normally... but since I'm sick, I get to watch all the TV I want! However, due to the low quality of children's TV shows, I am not all that interested in TV anyhow. So usually, after about 10 minutes of any show, I lose interest.
I rather wrap electrical cords around my neck for fun.
Or stack blocks!!! Its my favorite activity!!! Mommy says maybe I can be an engineer later like Gongong!
But generally when Im sick, I just like to lay on Mommy's belly.
On Tuesday, Daddy took the day off and Mommy went back to work.
I felt a little better. Better enough to color with my new washable crayons from Auntie Marina
And also to move paper towel rolls back and forth
But sometimes I would still be kind of out of it.....
UPDATE: One week later!! I am all better~!! I was late posting this but i have even more pics for my next post!
