But when I woke up, I was pretty restless. And I was teething. And I peed through my diaper twice. I think Mommy and Daddy were glad when we landed.
California was everything Mommy and Daddy had hoped for and more! The weather couldnt have been better. Sunny, mid 70s, and dry every day! I don't think I've ever seen that much sunshine in my entire life~!~~ We stayed with Cousin Benjamin, Auntie Marina and Uncle Dave! Uncle Dave has a smoker and smoked some yummy Salmon and BBQ Ribs for Mommy and Daddy. Of course I couldn't have one because I'm on a low-to-no sodium diet!
On the first day, we hung out at their house. There was a heat wave going on !
I got to take a bath in Cousin Benjamin's cool race car!
I couldn't tell if Cousin Benjamin liked me or not....
When the adults weren't looking, he would try to hit and kick me!
But then sometimes he would also give me hugs and kisses! I still love him though!
The next day, we drove to Muir Woods but it was too crowded. So then we went to Stinson Beach and ate lunch outside. The weather was soooooo nice!!! I loved it!
Stinson Beach was actually way too cold to go swimming at!
But it was still really pretty!
I couldnt stop looking around!
Then we drove along the Pacific Coast Highway. So pretty!
Afterwards, we went to the Wongs for another BBQ at their house. They have an awesome deck in the back!
Parker was totally into me!!! So was Kali!
I hear that young kids looooove babies for some reason! Lucky for me!
Kali and Parker are half-breeds just like me! or Hybrids... or cross-breeds...or Muggles...whatever!
Parkere's Dad bbqing!
I think Parker wants a baby brother.....what do you think?
Parker gave me his toy car to play with while we all watched Dora.
I've never seen Dora or watched TV before. Mommy and Daddy said no TV before the age of 2!!
Now I know what the big hoopla is about!!! Look at us! We are like Zombies!
On Sunday, we got breakfast at the Redwood Train Station. The food was pretty good!!! Mommy fed me some hash browns... YUM!
Then we met up at the Wongs and packed up our gear to go to Bicycle Sunday on Canada Road!
Since Daddy wasn't comfortable with me sitting in trailer (only babies 1 year and older should be in them), Uncle Dave offered to push me in a stroller while everyone biked.
I can't wait until I can sit in a bike seat like Cousin Benjamin!! Or ride a trike like Kali!
Auntie Marina says this is a super nerdy family pic.
This is what Family Cycling looks like!
Group pic! Much thanks to the Wongs for letting us use their bikes and helmets!!!
They say I don't look like Mommy... but do I look like Daddy??? Hmmmm.....
Mommy has the coolest cameras. I want!
We finally made it Muir Woods the following Monday. It was STILL super crowded and it took a long time for us to find parking. Mommy carried me in the Ergo.
Auntie Marina carried Benjamin almost the entire 2 mile hike!! Daddy tried to help Auntie Marina by carrying Benjamin but Benjamin just screamed the entire time!!! I think Benjamin disturbed the entire ecosystem at Muir Woods!
Look at how small I am!
After Muir Woods, we drove to Half Moon Bay and had lunch there. OK so I screamed the entire way and Daddy and Auntie Marina did not like it. But i think I made up for it by laughing at Daddy's game with me!
The next day, we went to the Stanford Mall to do some shopping. We ate at Max's (they copied my name!). Parker
During long car rides, I sat in the back with Benjamin and we just made lots of noise.
Thpppppppptttttt
Cousin Benjamin also let me nap in his crib! And snuggle with his stuffies! He's so nice! Here - look at me! Don't I look like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever?
I was quite talkative all weekend....
And I was teething. At least thats why Mommy thinks I was cranky alot. Daddy thinks it was the time change.
Auntie Marina gave me one of her homemade strawberry popsicles. It was so cold!!!!
I miss California!!! I want to go back! This East Coast humidity stinks!
