Family Moon 2013 at Club Med in Sandpiper Bay Florida

This Memorial Weekend we took our first family vacation.  Mommy picked this resort because it was voted the #1 Baby Friendly Family Resort in Parents Magazine!!

DAY 1

Our flight left on Friday Morning at 6:45AM from Newark Airport.  Mommy woke me up at around 4am!  I was tired but didn't make a big deal out of it.

I did pretty well on the plane ride.  Everyone passing by kept commenting on how I was super happy.  But of course I was! I was with Mommy and Daddy!  There was a baby in the row in front of us.  We became friends!

Our room came with a separate room with a crib and a changing pad for me!  My own room!  But during the day, I would just roll around Mommy and Daddy's King Size bed.  Mommy brought my shapes!!!

Lucky for Mommy and Daddy, I fell asleep in my stroller right before lunch as they were exploring the resort grounds.   So they were able to have a nice peaceful lunch  while enjoying this lovely view of the bay from their dining table.  The weather was perfect!

I woke up from my nap right when they finished their lunch (and a few drinks!)

I had a drink of my own.

Then I went swimming in the Main Pool! -- and as usual -- I LOVED IT!!!!!  I loved splashing the water so much so that Mommy couldn't see!!

Then we went to check out the kiddie pool where they had super cool water spouts!

Then we lay out on these cool beach beds to relax!!  Don't worry, Mommy slathered me in sunscreen and by then it was about 5pm so the sun wasn't as strong!!!

There was a CODE BROWN in the main pool!! IT WASN'T ME!!!

We were all pretty tired by the end of the day so all of us were in bed by 9pm!!

DAY 2

The next day,  we went to eat breakfast in the main dining hall.  I was in a super awesome mood.

The dining hall was buffet style and had all these baby foods prepared just for me!!!  And they had these nice cushiony high chairs for me !  and the other zillion babies that were there..  

I was in a super awesome mood, can you tell?

After breakfast, Mommy and I took some pics.  

Mommy and Daddy walked me over to the Baby Med so that they could have some alone time for the day.  Here is the baby/kiddie water park.   Thats where that awesome water spout is!!!

This is the building they call "Kidz Village".  Baby Med is in there and also they have a room where Mommy and Daddy can warm up and wash my bottles.

And this is.... BABY MED!  They were open from 8:30am until 5pm every day!

Mommy and Daddy picked me up for dinner.  There are always these crazy people standing in front of the dining hall. But they are all super nice and friendly.  The two guys in the pic below were trying to get Mommy and Daddy to join the Zumba class!

Thank goodness Mommy brought a zillion Mum Mums with us!

They dropped me off at the Pajama Club at around 7pm that night.  Mommy and Daddy went for a night swim in the adult pool.  but they got kicked out because the adult pool closed at 9pm!!

After they got kicked out of the adult pool, they went to the main bar/lounge to drink and party it up with a bunch of teenagers and a bad DJ.

DAY 3

We drove out first thing in the morning to Bath Tub Coral Reef Beach.

It was about a 30 minute drive from the resort.    I wasn't too crazy about the beach.   Mommy and Daddy seemed to like it. But personally, I thought the waves were freaking scary!!!!  They were so loud!  And constantly trying to get me!!  It was hot and all this sand got stuck in my fat folds!!! Why would anyone like it at the beach!?

I just grabbed Daddy and hugged him tight, praying that he wouldn't feed me to the those monster waves. I know they were just dying to take a bite out of me!!! I could tell!

  Nevertheless, we managed to get some of really good family pics!!

Mommy and Daddy decided to bring me back to the resort for a quick swim and then back to Baby Med while they played tennis and swam a few laps.  Afterwards, they came to watch me in a show Baby Med put together.  I thought I was swell!

We flew back to Newark on Monday.  We almost got into a bus-car accident going from the airport terminal to the parking lot!  Mommy had me strapped to her on the ergo and was sitting sideways in the shuttle.  But then a car pulled out in front ofthe shuttle bus.  The shuttle bus slammed on the breaks and Mommy went flying forward and I went with her!!! 

I didn't cry immedately, but as a passenger was helping Mommy sit upright again, I started to scream and scream and scream and scream. Mommy thought maybe i slammed against the pole and broke my arm or something. But i didnt. I just don't like surprises like that!!! And it was scary!! Just like those ocean waves!!!

But luckily everyone was OK!

Aside from that, I had a great vacation with Mommy and Daddy!!!
