Super Fun Family Weekend!

This past Saturday I had my 6 month appointment and got my shots (poooooo!)  I weigh 18 lbs and 2 ozs, I am 24 inches long, and ...i forgot what my head circumference was. But doc says im 25th percentile in everything! I think that is good.....

I didn't like my shots. I had to get 4 of them!!!! I made sure to scream really loud.  Mommy held me afterwards and made everything all right. 

I decided this weekend that I didn't want to get a "dream feed" anymore."  Usually, I go to bed at 7:30pm.   Then Mommy and Daddy give me a "dreamfeed" at around 10:30pm so that I stay asleep until morning.  They've been doing that since I was about 7 weeks old.   But this weekend... I decided that I'm too old for that!

I was a little nervous about breaking it to them because they seem to loooove giving it to me.  But I figured I'd just break it to them cold turkey.   So when they tried to give me the bottle at 10:30pm, I just turned my head away and ignored them.   That was Friday.  Then Saturday night, they didn't even bother giving it to me.  I slept from 7:30pm  til 6am.   Sunday - they didn't give it to me again and I slept from 7:30pm til 6am again!  WHEW! That was easy! I thought I would have to wean them off giving me the dreamfeed but they caught on pretty quick!

On Sunday, we all got an early start and went to eat brunch at the Turning Point in Hoboken.  We were so early that they didn't even open yet!  Mommy and Daddy let me sit in a high chair and eat Mum-Mums while they had their breakfast and coffee.  Mommy gave me some of the avocado from her Huevos Rancheros.

After breakfast, we went to hang out by the waterfront park area in Hoboken.  There was a kiddie park and we watched all the kids play on the swing and ride their bikes. I loved being in warm weather finally!!!

Daddy caught me mid-cough here I think. Me and mommy had the same nasty cough this weekend. Yuck. I hate being sick.  Especially since my boogies run all over my face and Mommy keeps attacking me with tissues. UGH I HATE THAT!!!! DON'T TOUCH THE FACE!

I was completely fascinated by this table top.

I've gotten super cuddly recently.. what can i say!  I love hugging Mommy and Daddy, and giving them kisses!!  I also love all the colorful shirts Mommy and Daddy wear! - even the black ones!
